Dr. Francesco Pierangeli, Deputy Director of UK CBT, attended Andreessen Horowitz’s (a16z) UK Parliamentary Reception, ‘a16z: Powering the UK’s Tech and Web3 Revolution through Investment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship,’ held at the Thames Pavilion in the House of Commons. The event, hosted by the leading venture capital firm on the 22nd of October 2024, highlighted a16z’s commitment to supporting Web3 entrepreneurs in the UK, both within and beyond London.

The reception provided an excellent platform for networking and collaboration. During the event, Dr. Pierangeli discussed potential initiatives to promote entrepreneurship in the space with key figures, including Anthony Albanese, CEO of a16z crypto and Head of the London Office, and Brian Quintenz, Global Head of Policy at a16z Crypto.

Dr. Pierangeli also engaged with UK CBT partners, including Simon Jennings, UK Cryptoasset Business Council, reinforcing UK CBT’s dedication to fostering innovation in blockchain and digital assets.
