UK CBT and BBA Co-Host the 7th Blockchain International Scientific Conference at UCL

On the 4th of April, ISC 2025 brought together global academics, policymakers, and industry leaders for a day of rigorous debate and forward-thinking discussion at University College London. Hosted in collaboration between UK CBT and the British Blockchain Association, the event marked the 7th Blockchain International Scientific Conference and drew an impressive cohort of speakers and attendees from around the world.
With three packed sessions, ISC 2025 showcased cutting-edge blockchain research, from decentralised finance to sustainability and governance. Speakers represented institutions including Nodiens, the University of Southampton, Zurich University of Applied Sciences, Charles Russell Speechlys, and nChain. The agenda also featured keynote addresses from The Rt Hon Viscount Camrose and The Rt Hon The Lord Boateng CVO, who delivered insights into the future of innovation and regulation.
The conference concluded with the Best Abstract Awards and Fellowship Ceremony, followed by industry keynotes and networking. As blockchain continues to evolve, ISC 2025 reaffirmed the vital role of academic and policy collaboration in shaping the future of digital infrastructure.
