UK CBT in the Spotlight at the Scholars in Blockchain International Symposium

On the 8th of November, Dr. Francesco Pierangeli spoke at the Scholars in Blockchain International Symposium (SIBIS24) hosted online. Marked as the World's First ‘Professors of Blockchain’ International Symposium, it was organised by the Centre for Evidence Based Blockchain under the auspices of the British Blockchain Association (BBA).
The symposium, chaired by Prof. Dr Naseem Naqvi MBE, President of the British Blockchain Association, brought together over 100 blockchain and crypto professors from six continents. In his talk, Dr. Pierangeli highlighted two major challenges for the blockchain industry: regulatory uncertainty and the ongoing limited public understanding of blockchain technology.
The event provided a platform for experts in the field to share research and insights on the latest developments in blockchain and cryptocurrency and for Dr. Pierangeli to introduce the work of the UK CBT. The symposium served as a networking event, allowing attendees to connect with leading scholars and explore collaborative opportunities in the rapidly evolving field of blockchain technology.
