UK CBT Students Participate in Italian XRPL Hackathon 2024

UK CBT-sponsored team of MSc students from the University of Birmingham, composed of Ellis Winstone, Evan Brookes, and Shi Jie (Dan) Tan, participated in the IXH24 Italian XRPL Hackathon 2024 in Rome on the 21st-23rd of November.

This event brought together talent from the blockchain and cryptography fields, offering a mix of seminars, discussions, and hands-on challenges. The hackathon featured two tracks: Cryptography, focusing on encryption and privacy-enhancing technologies, and XRPL Applications, covering XRP Ledger integrations, decentralized finance, and smart contracts. 

Jointly organized by Roma Tre University, De Componendis Cifris, and XRPL Commons, the hackathon had a €10k prize pool, offering participants a platform for innovation making this a valuable learning experience. The event highlighted the contribution of young innovators shaping the future of blockchain.
